Tunnel Vision

Project 52 Entry #51

In Monday’s post, The Stables at Casa Loma, I mentioned that there were tunnels that led from the Hunting Lodge and stable complex to the main house. These tunnels are 800 feet long and 18 feet deep.  This is the last section before reaching the main house.

  1. Great capture Edith, the bits of red in it highlight it nicely.

I like the repetition in this shot. Although, it could use a thorough cleaning ;)

  6. You’ve reminded me of something I haven’t thought about for years. When I was at college in New York I discovered that some of the buildings were connected by utility tunnels. I sometimes used them to get from one class to another when it was cold outside.

    • Thanks so much Pablo. Yes this is an HDR. It’s 3 exposures tone mapped in Photomatix and then further adjustments made in PS and Topaz Adjust.

  9. Nice perspective, Edith! I like the way the overhead lights start to curve round at the end of the corridor indicating that there is something to be found along this route.
