A Day in the Country
Project 52 Entry #30
A quick post today. This was taken this past weekend at Black Creek Pioneer Village here in Toronto. I spent a wonderful morning shooting there and I’ll have a whole series of images to share with you next week. Can you believe this is the month of December? No Snow 😦
Last night was the first night of Hanukkah so I’d like to wish all those celebrating a very Happy Hanukkah.
I’m hoping for snow in Central PA too! 🙂 great shot!

Edith, I am really impressed with that photograph; late in the day, early winter afternoon sun that shows brightness but no warmth, breaking through the pine branches, casting long shadows over the resting earth. This, and the leafless desiduous trees tell the story of what is to come, and you have captured it wonderfully. Gerry

We had a couple inches of snow Monday and are supposed to get a couple more on Thursday. I never thought I would want snow, but it sure makes this season pretty! Love the sunburst!

Fantastic shot Edith. Love the sun positioning. I can’t believe the lack of snow this year! Oh well, Skiing will have to wait a few more weeks!

Beautiful shot Edith. Love the composition, processing and the sunburst. It has been a weird winter for us too. A unheard of 18 inches in October and nothing since. Hope you have a happy holiday season.
