About Face…
Just having a little bit of fun today. I took this a couple of summers ago while hiking through Ein Gedi Nature Reserve in southern Israel. I actually did a bit of a double take when I first looked at this…now that’s what I call a “cliff face.”

Very funny! My wife is always seeing images or figures in the clouds and in nature.

Terrific capture Edith. Did you need to have him sign a model release? 🙂

Right. Fun. It reminds me of the Buddha’s that the Taliban shelled in Afghanistan.

It’s unfortunate that this image would illicit unpleasant memories. It was meant to be fun. Ein Gedi Nature Reserve lies on the western shores of the Dead Sea and has extreme significance in biblical times. The texture and holes in the cliffs have been in the making for thousands of years due to its proximity to the Dead Sea and the extreme heat.
