Never Forget
Project 52 Entry #41
Never Forget…how can we. This past trip to New York was the first time I’ve been back since the unveiling of the 9/11 Memorial. It was a sobering experience. I suppose it always is when one thinks of the senseless loss of life.
Beautiful images Edith. The place is indeed sobering and the sorrow is intensified with the images of the flower and birthday wishes.

This is by far one of the best series yet of the monument. I like that you got in close and personal. Great tribute, Edith.

Wonderful images, Edith. Is that the tree that survived 9/11, was transplanted multiple times and survived?

Thanks so much Rick. No the tree that survived the attacks actually has a fence all the way around it.

What a wonderful tribute, Edith. I have never been to the site and would very much like to go there this Summer, hopefully to pay respect to all the innocent lives that we’ve lost during this tragedy.
