Weekly Photo Challenge – Silhouette

I took this a couple of years ago while in Israel. While doing a jeep tour in the desert around Eilat we stopped at sunset to build a fire in order to brew some tea and make some pita bread. This fella showed up, probably hoping we’d leave something behind. We had a bit of a stare down before he scampered off the other side of this ridge.

  7. Wow, those horns are amazing! I like the negative space you’ve left in the sky, gives the strong silhouette room to ‘breathe’.

  8. I would never have thought you would see an animal like this in that part of the world. In Switzerland this would be similar to an Ibex. A beautiful silhouette, Edith

    • Thanks Andy. You know what…now that you’re saying it. I think it was an ibex. We saw them in Ein Gedi as well. (not far from the Dead Sea).
