Maine – A “Vintage” Travel Poster

It’s been awhile since I’ve created (and posted) a “vintage travel poster” so I thought this would be a good time. I’m actually working on one for Bruce Peninsula National Park and hope to be able to share it with you shortly.

This is the second one that I’ve created for Maine. The first one that I did was for Acadia National Park which you can see here. This time around I just couldn’t resist but use an iconic place such as Portland Head lighthouse as the focus of this travel poster.

You can view more travel posters in the gallery.

Click on the image to enlarge (it really looks better) or to Purchase a Print.

Gorgeous photo Edith. That location is certainly iconic and it makes me want to hop in the car and go back.

  21. You have a very fine blog, I look forward to see more of it and follow you into the future.
Whenever I see photos of Maine, I find the resemblance to my country Norway absolutely striking.
    Have a great time.
