I’m embarrassed to admit how long its been since I’ve blogged on this site. No excuses…life has just been busy. Â In February we lost our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Brady. His passing was very traumatic for me and my family and we were heartbroken. Brady was a very special dog and will live in […]
As a photographer there’s always so much to do. There never seems to be enough time in the day to accomplish everything I want to accomplish. As I’ve been doing more and more studio sessions I’ve been determined to actually photographer my own boys. The problem was their schedule was harder to work around than […]
My photographic muse is my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Brady. This boy is so sweet and loving and while he’s not a fan of having his picture taken there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for a treat ;). This past weekend I decided I needed some new pictures of Brady and having just purchased a new […]

Both of these images were taken in Sorrento. Because of the lack of a large sandy beach the hotels get creative. These are floating mats where the last mat on either end is tied to a dock (I was standing in a square above this hotel when I shot this image and zoomed in so you can’t see the docks). The guests swim out to these mats and can relax and sunbathe there.

how creative, I was in Sorrento many years ago, the beach is so small! never seen those floating mats, must be a recent introduction! where there is a will, there is a way 😉

That first shot does not look real at first glance – what a find! I love the simplicity of the second image too. Lovely work, Edith

Thanks so much Andy. I really loved Sorrento and there’s a square above the hotels where you can get a bird’s eye-view of the sunbathers below.
