Faneuil Hall
Faneuil Hall marketplace is located near the waterfront in Boston and is a popular destination for tourists. What I didn’t realize is that Faneuil Hall has been a marketplace and meeting hall since 1742 acting as a backdrop for many speeches made by Samuel Adams encouraging independence from Great Britain.
After processing the image in Photoshop I converted it to black and white using Topaz Black & White Effects and then used the selective adjustment brush to bring back some colour.
Click on the image to enlarge (it really does look better) or to Purchase a Print.
I have visited Faneuil Hall often and always make it a stop whenever I visit there. Excellent use of selective color Edith. I hope you went to the North End to get some great Italian food.

Thank you so much Len. Funny you should mention eating in the West End. My husband kept telling me I must get there for dinner but I had to be back at the hotel for a conference reception. I did end up at Legal Test Kitchen and had an incredible bowl of clam chowder π

Most times, I’m not a fan of black and white conversion with one thing in color, but it works well here, bring your attention to the red car vendor and creating a bit of depth to the image. Well done!
