Trastevere
It’s been a while since I posted any Italy pictures and there’s still a few that I had meant to share and haven’t had the chance. This image is from a lovely afternoon spent in Trastevere. Trastevere is in Rome located on the west bank of the Tiber. This little enclave with it narrow, winding, cobblestone streets is best explored on foot.
Click on the image to enlarge (it really does look better) or to Purchase a Print.
This image seems so European – for good reason – it’s Europe! Love the warmth of the buildings! Beauty!

A beautiful cityscape, capturing the atmosphere of the cobblestone streets of Trastevere. The processing (probably HDR?) gives the image a painterly quality.

Wonderful capture Edith. Love the way you caught the people relaxing and hanging out. Adds a contemporary feel to what could otherwise be an old-world treatment. Well done.
