Tuscan Hillside

After spending 3 days in Cinque Terre we headed to Tuscany where we were going to explore the Tuscan country side for the next 3 days. I was sad to leave the beauty of Cinque Terre but the wonderful thing about Italy is that beauty can be found in every corner of this country.

We based ourselves just outside of Montepulciano (more on where we stayed in a future post) in the province of Siena in Southern Tuscany. Driving from town to town one is graced with scenes such as this. It’s a good thing my husband was driving as I would have had a hard time keeping my eyes on the road.

    • Thank you Anne. It was just my husband and I. It’s hard to travel with a group when you’re a photographer. They don’t like to stop often 🙂

  10. Beautiful picture Edith! Did you finish this with Topaz Impressions? I love the painted canvas look. Perfect for a scene like this!

    • Thanks so much Michael. Actually I didn’t use Impressions for this one. I used a texture overlay.

  12. Classic Tuscany, Edith. I could so with a nice glass of Montepulciano wine right now – my favourite Italian red.

      • Dear Edith – don’t bother…got a TLabs reply and they offered a 20% customer start coupon…I used and ordered my 1st 2 packages – think I need one more for HDR shots in near future…but ELPHOTO was still not accepted, until I got the new code…
thanks for your efforts and hints about TLabs… 😉

        • Ginniw, I just heard back from Topaz Labs. It seems they changed something on their back end and now it works with out capital letters. So the code is “elphoto”. Sorry about that.
