Subway Tableau #4

I was back in New York a couple of months ago and picked up where I left off with my subway project…right back on the platform.

  1. Excellent “frame with a frame” and the details are terrific, Edith. Conveys the mood of the subway– I can almost smell it. 🙂

  4. For several years of my life I changed trains in the station at 59th St. and Broadway. I suspect the station you’ve shown is on the Lexington Ave. line, but it still brings back memories of time that’s now half a century ago.

  5. I don’t know why but I really like to sit on a chair beside the subway station and just watch people coming and going … it’s kinda weird but for a moment I feel like I stopped the time for myself or sometime I even feel invisible among all those crowd!
