Subway Tableau #4
I was back in New York a couple of months ago and picked up where I left off with my subway project…right back on the platform.

I’m embarrassed to admit how long its been since I’ve blogged on this site. No excuses…life has just been busy. In February we lost our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Brady. His passing was very traumatic for me and my family and we were heartbroken. Brady was a very special dog and will live in […]
As a photographer there’s always so much to do. There never seems to be enough time in the day to accomplish everything I want to accomplish. As I’ve been doing more and more studio sessions I’ve been determined to actually photographer my own boys. The problem was their schedule was harder to work around than […]
My photographic muse is my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Brady. This boy is so sweet and loving and while he’s not a fan of having his picture taken there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for a treat ;). This past weekend I decided I needed some new pictures of Brady and having just purchased a new […]
Excellent “frame with a frame” and the details are terrific, Edith. Conveys the mood of the subway– I can almost smell it. 🙂

For several years of my life I changed trains in the station at 59th St. and Broadway. I suspect the station you’ve shown is on the Lexington Ave. line, but it still brings back memories of time that’s now half a century ago.

I’ve lived in Austin for 40 years but there’s still a lot of New Yorker in me.

I don’t know why but I really like to sit on a chair beside the subway station and just watch people coming and going … it’s kinda weird but for a moment I feel like I stopped the time for myself or sometime I even feel invisible among all those crowd!
