Beach Day in Malaga

Our next stop on our Spain adventure was the beach town of Malaga, birthplace of Pablo Picasso and Antonio Banderas. Naturally the first stop was the beach.

Alhambra Reflections

On our way to Malaga from Barcelona we stopped in Granada to tour The Alhambra. Make sure that if you’re planning a trip you purchase your tickets online well in advance. We actually saw people turned away because there were no more tickets that day.

The reflecting pools that have been built directly in front of the palaces visually increases their size by the mirror like effect. It creates a beautiful scene to behold.

Old Town Valencia

I was thoroughly impressed by the old historic centre of Valencia. The lovely narrow streets, colourful buildings and excellent food is what I love most about Europe.

A Different View

A couple of weeks ago I posted “Blue Garden View” from Park Guell in Barcelona. Antoni Gaudi’s masterpiece has an endless amount of beautiful photographic spots and all one has to do is simply move to the other side of the house.

Painted Pier

A little something from Barcelona to take you into this hot, long weekend. Happy Canada Day and to my American friends Happy 4th of July.
