Early Morning Calm

For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to live by the sea. I love watching the waves come crashing in. I love the calming sound of the ocean and I particularly love being out by the water right after sunrise. The sea is calm, there’s no one around except maybe a fisherman or two. Boats tied up by the docks are bobbing up and down. This one particular early morning in Bar Harbor fit the bill perfectly.

The only thing missing was Jessica Fletcher cycling down the street a la Murder She Wrote. Here I go dating myself again. Ah come on…didn’t you want to live in Cabot Cove?
