A belated Happy Canada Day to all and a Happy 4th of July to all my American friends and readers. Hope you all enjoyed the long weekend. We stayed close to home and family and friends this weekend and did something that we don’t do enough of…explore in our own backyard. We took a drive to Hamilton, Ontario which is about an hour outside of Toronto. Hamilton is a port city on the western tip of Lake Ontario and on the Niagara Escarpment. The area is filled with beautiful hiking trails that lead to hidden gems such as Albion Falls.

I just found out this morning that Craft & Vision release another free ebook. Yes you heard right…it’s absolutely FREE. I haven’t read it yet as I’ve just downloaded it myself. Grab your copy here and enjoy!
A couple of weekends ago I was out with my Photography Club for the day shooting waterfalls in the Hamilton, Ontario area. Unfortunately there was still a lot of snow and ice on the trail that prohibited us from climbing down to the river. Of all the shots I took that day this is the one that I was somewhat pleased with. I used my 10 stop ND filter in order to smooth out the falls and the way the water hits the rocks below.

The weekend is just around the corner but before we go there I have another edition of iPhone Friday for you. I thought I would take a break from my Maine images for today and share with you these iPhone shots I took yesterday while attending the 1st round of The Canadian Open at the Hamilton Golf & Country Club.
