Life on the Tracks

As a photographer your vision, the story you want to tell will hopefully translate to your viewer. How you compose the image and frame your subject will help to tell that story.  The streetcar image that I posted on Monday is a very good example. That image was bright and cheery and even a bit whimsical in the way that I choose process it (you can see it here).  The image that I took seconds later tells a very different story. By stepping back a little and zooming out this is the scene that I saw.
