There’s a little bakery in Carmel called appropriately The Carmel Bakery and Coffee Co., that my husband and I just fell in love with. We headed there every morning for breakfast (they make a mean breakfast burrito) and their baked goods are just out of this world. If you find yourself in Carmel head over there.
TGIF…wow has it been a hectic week…but good hectic. The week started with my son, Sam’s prom on Monday and then his high school graduation on Wednesday evening with lots of activity in between which explains why I haven’t kept to my usual posting schedule this week. On Thursday Sam and I headed back to the University of Western Ontario for his Academic orientation. While he was busy choosing courses I took the opportunity to walk around and take some pictures of this beautiful campus. I’ll be back there often come the fall so I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more of Western 🙂
Have a great weekend everyone.
Yesterday my husband and I and our oldest son took a drive to London, Ontario to do a tour of the University of Western Ontario. This is one of the universities that my son has been accepted too (we’re very proud of him) and one of his top choices. Western is one of the top universities in Canada and the campus is just beautiful. Unfortunately it was still grey and cold yesterday but I was able to grab a few iPhone shots as we moved from building to building.
Have a great long weekend everyone and Happy Easter to those that celebrate.
Oh…I’m being a bit over dramatic and really there’s no drama in this post. The title has to do with a new app I wanted to tell you about, Tangled FX. I learned about this app from fellow blogger and photographer, David Pasillas. He reviewed Tangled FX early in the week and it looked so interesting that I decided to download it. David did a great job on the review so please have a look at it here. I really loved “playing” with this app. There are some fascinating effects you can create. I think my favorites are Brady (he’s always a favourite) and the Toronto Waterfront image. I actually printed that one and it really looks sharp.
Which one do you like?? (Click on the images to enlarge and really see the detail)
On another note, yesterday I posted a new image of St. Louis Cathedral to my Facebook Page. Let me know what you think. Have a great weekend everyone!
